Job Description

Purpose of the Job

The Customer Service Officer is a first point of contact for ENPF customers. The primary role of the position is to respond to a variety of customer requests and inquiries via the telephone and in person over the counter. The Officer is also responsible for assisting claimants when lodging their benefit claims.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide precise information, advice and guidance at first instance to all inquiries in relation to the Fund’s Operations and claim applications
  • Advise employers on the employer registration requirements in accordance with the SNPF Order N0 23 OF 1974
  • Ensure that submitted employer registration forms are appropriately filled and accompanied by all the prescribed supporting documents
  • Appropriately capture employer registration information into the system
  • Issue employer registration certificates to all newly registered employers.
  • Where necessary, provide cashier services which includes receiving and properly receipting contributions, daily reconciliations and banking as required in accordance with the Fund’s Cash Management and Banking Procedures.
  • Update employer accounts in accordance to the Fund’s processes and procedures. Issue employer compliance  certificate
  • Educate and advise members on the Fund’s processes and procedures, and this might comprise featuring on the Fund’s Educational Forum
  •  Undertake any other duties, as and when required.



  •      A Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or Commerce
  •      Accounting Principles, Record Keeping and Management Principles an added advantage


  •      2 years customer service experience
  •      Computer literacy
  •      Experience working in customer orientation functions
  •      Demonstrate strong judgment and decision making ability
  •      The energy and tenacity to work well under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines, with little supervision


  •      Detail oriented
