To ensure that employers’ and members’ accounts are processed and maintained accurately and timeously and reconciled with the NPF 200 form to a zero balance as well as processing of member journals for benefits claims payment correctly and promptly.
Adhere to Section 21(2) of the SNPF Order No.23 of 1974 as amended by maintaining up to date and correct employers’ accounts through reconciliation of accounts to zero balances, to achieve at least 90% capturing as stated in the department’s strategic plan.
Maintain up-to-date and correct members’ accounts through capturing member data from NPF 200 forms and adhering to customers (employers and members) queries with 100% accurate information.
Process member journals in preparation for benefits claim payments within 4 hours.
Liaise with employers on any missing information or necessary elucidation in processing the NPF 200 Form.
Preparation of employers and members accounts for printing of members annual statements.
Educate employers and members on the operations of the Fund and on submitting correct information timeously, for effective processing and payment of claims and Siphephelo Funeral benefit.
Perform any other duties as required to support the mission of the department and the ENPF as a whole.
QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
A Degree in Accounting, AAT Level 4 or Equivalent
EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE
2 years’ experience
Ability to perform and analyze detailed calculations with accuracy in an efficient manner
Ability to examine documents for completeness, accuracy and note discrepancies
