UNDERWRITER & SALES DEVELOPER:

We are currently looking for a dynamic Underwriter cum Sales Developer to join our team.

Reporting to the Assistant General Manager, you are responsible for the daily operations of the company in the areas of Underwriting & Sales Development as a true partner to the Assistant General Manager. The candidate shall be responsible for the overall operational efficiency of the company in Underwriting & Sales along with the team reporting to you. The candidate shall be responsible for training of interns Et juniors, effective service delivery to both our internal and external customers.

In this performance based rote, the ideal candidate is responsible for achievement of profitable business growth through quality underwriting and meeting of pre-set budgetary targets in Sales. The Candidate shall, be responsible for underwriting discipline, meeting of top line & bottom line targets, swift, effective, service delivery to customers, collection follow-ups heading and leading a team of Junior underwriters & sales developers including interns from the front, training of interns and junior staff.

To qualify for the position you are required:

  • To be a seasoned non- life professional in underwriting and sales with a minimum experience of 10 years.
  • To have previous demonstrable experience in training of interns & Juniors and leading a team from the front.
  • To be experienced in and be fully proficient with underwriting for all classes of non-life insurance including sales development.
  • To have completed your Degree in Insurance, commerce, economics or any other equivalent. You are expected to be pursuing further studies in Insurance and management.
  • To have previous experience in risk management and risk surveys.
  • To have unique interpersonal skills with ability to manage effective relationships in a multi-cultural environment.
  • To have recent experience of at least 5 years in a similar role where your desired skills including leadership and training skills have been tested.
  • Preference shall be given to Emaswati who meet the above criteria.

ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER

We are currently looking for a dynamic Assistant General Manager to join our team.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you are responsible for the daily operations of the company in all areas of operations as a true partner to the Chief Executive Officer. The candidate shall be responsible for the overall operational efficiency of the company and all departments shall be reporting to him. The candidate shall be responsible for training of interns Et juniors, effective service delivery to both our internal and external customers.

In this performance based role, the ideal candidate is responsible for achievement of profitable business growth through quality underwriting, claims service discipline, proper accounting oversight, debtors- follow ups, reinsurance, training of interns a junior staff and HR.

To qualify for the position you are required:

  • To be a seasoned all round non- life professional with a minimum experience of 15 years.
  • To have previous demonstrable experience in training of Interns Et Juniors.
  • To be experienced in and be fully proficient with underwriting, claims, Accounts matters and reinsurance for all classes of non-life insurance including placement of complex risks.
  • To have completed your Degree in Insurance, commerce, economics or any other equivalent along with Associate-ship in Insurance.
  • To have previous experience in risk management and risk surveys.
  • To have a strong network of national and international re-insurers and brokers
  • To have unique interpersonal skills with ability to manage effective relationships in a multi-cultural environment.
  • To have recent experience of at least seven years in a similar senior management role where your leadership skills have been tested.
  • Preference shall be given to Emaswati who meet the above criteria.

This being a performance based rote the compensation package shall depend on the candidate.
