Job Description

SALES MANAGER (BEER)

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the above mentioned position within Sales Distribution.

THE JOB

To manage a territory to provide market driven differentiated services within clearly identified channels that delivers sustainable growth in brand equity, volume and market share, competitive advantage and corporate reputation.

Key deliverables also include but not limited to the following:

  • Analyze and identify profit pools and value drivers for the specific category or territory managed (Including competition)
  • Segmentation of the market to define opportunities in tine with business goals and targets
  • Translating prioritized opportunities into Sales Plan
  • Set and manage annual fixed cost budget aligned to Sales Plan
  • Management and coaching of Sales Reps to achieve agreed volume targets and maintain excellent customer relationships
  • Management of sales assets and placement of POSM to grow volumes

THE PERSON

The ideal candidate should have the following minimum requirements:

  • A B-Com Degree or any other related degree
  • Good Financial/Business understanding
  • Experience in the Sales Environment will be an added advantage
  • Good communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Above average Presentation Skills.
  • Reliable and hardworking with the ability to pay attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Leadership and career growth potential
  • Assertive and well spoken

TRAINEE SALES REPRESENTATIVE
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the above mentioned position within the Company.

THE JOB
Reporting to the Sales Manager will be responsible to meet or exceed Volume and Market-Share targets through providing market differentiated services that build sustainable competitiveness.

Key deliverables also include but not limited to the following:
This is a trainee-ship position. At the end of the program the ideal candidate should be able to:

  • Develop customer and consumer relationships.
  • Conduct sales administration.
  • Deliver tailored service packages relevant to segments.
  • Implement national promotions relevant to segments.
  • Achieve pre-determined sales/brand and market share targets
  • Maintain stock levels to support sales targets by outlet.
  • Analyze competitor activity.
  • Handle customer and consumer queries.

THE PERSON

The ideal candidate should have the following minimum requirements:

  • A Marketing Degree or equivalent.
  • Experience in Marketing or Sales, preferably in a FMCG environment would be an added advantage
  • A valid driver’s license (Light Duty).
  • Minimum 3 years Driving Experience.
  • A Clean Criminal Record.
