Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the above-mentioned position which reports to the
Manager- Consumer and Stakeholder Management.

POSITION GRADE

This position is in grade C

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication, Marketing, Public Relations or equivalent Certificate in Digital Marketing will be an added advantage

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in stakeholder relations, journalism or a similar or related position
  • Expenence in the Energy related industry will be an added advantage
  • Manual motor vehicle driver’s license and experience is required

MAIN FUNCTION OF THE JOB

Responsible for assisting and supporting the Stakeholder management and Consumer Unit in managing communica-tions risks and opportunities of the Authority, establishing and maintaining a solid reputation for the Authority, and coordinating the promotion of various services offered by the Authority

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Drive the implementation of Consumer Awareness Programme for ESERA
  • Manage the CRM System for the recording and managing flow of Consumer Complaints
  • Develop and manage content for all digital media platforms
  • Manage and update database for Stakeholders
  • Be a custodian for all sector related information required by stakeholders

KEY SKILLS

  • Should be a team player with a bird’s eye view appreciation of the overall business
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Highly developed IT and Graphic design Skills Planning and organizing skills
