KPMG is seeking a talented and results driven individual to join our multi-disciplinary team as IT Manager. A key responsibility of the position is to support our audit teams on various engagements. As IT Manager you will lead KPMG’s IT Advisory team as they advise clients identify, understand, measure and manage their business risks resulting from the growing dependence on IT, and in establishing the appropriate controls and security measures relevant to the use of information systems and technology. The work will also involve client liaison at all stages of engagements, planning – short and long term, and application of professional knowledge.
This position is also responsible for analysing and directing all internal IT related activities of the firm with supervisory responsibilities for all staff assigned to the IT department. It is accountable for ensuring continuity of computer services through planning, technical leadership, and project coordination.
Qualifications and Experience
— Post graduate qualification in Computer Science or Information Technology accompanied by Certified Information Systems Auditor certification
— Minimum 5 years’ experience leading teams
As an IT Manager you need to be an ambitious leader who is determined to succeed in this fast-paced environment. A distinct customer focus and quality mind-set accompanied by strong communication, analytical and consulting skills are also desired.
