Job Description

1.    Purpose Develop and nurture relationships within the Travel Industry and our Corporate Customers in order to promote awareness of our brand and services.

 

2.   Knowledge, Skills and Experience

2.1   The minimum education requirement is a Grade 12 certificate or equivalent.

2.2   Tertiary qualification, with Marketing or Sales will be an advantage.

2.3   A minimum 4 years’ experience in Sales and Marketing / Brand awareness, Customer Liaison or experience in a similar role within travel industry/airline.

2.4   Good Public Relations, communication and writing skills.

2.5   Must be computer literate in Microsoft Word, excel and preferably power point.

2.6   Must be able to read, write and speak English and Siswati. Speaking at least one additional Language will be an advantage.

2.7   Must be confident, able to work under pressure, self-motivated and work independently.

2.8   Must have a valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.

2.9   Must be able to travel and overnight if necessary.

2.10  Will attend training as and when required to do so.

3.   Accountabilities

3.1   The employee shall be accountable for ensuring operations are conducted in     accordance with applicable regulations and standards of the Operator and within the confines of the AOC and relevant operational specifications;

3.2   Responsible for the OHS in their area of responsibility and accountability reporting into this role.

3.3   Accountable for the management of safety risks and security threats to aircraft operations.

4.    Responsibilities

4.1   Promote Eswatini Airlink in close collaboration with travel industry and corporate companies.

4.2   Marketing and related administration duties.

4.3   Explore new markets and opportunities and produce detailed follow up analysis and supporting motivation reports.

4.4   Attend workshops, strategic forums and conduct presentations as required.

4.5   Responsible for communication with the target market and working with Airlink Customer Care and Reservations regarding any service delivery issues.

4.6   Conduct regular meetings with the strategic targeted customers/corporates and evaluate their business needs, opportunities and level of support for the Airlink Group.

4.7   Build and nurture positive relationships with the associated key account decision makers and procurement.

4.8   Responsibilities must be carried out in accordance with Company Standards as laid out in the manuals of procedure, and Occupational Health and Safety Standards.

4.9   Will assist with any additional tasks within the context of the job description.
