Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced Company Employees for appointment to the above position that has arisen in the Human Resources Division.


Reporting to the Human Resources Manager the purpose of the job is to plan and supervise construction, maintenance and repair of Estate housing, buildings, waste water treatment systems, recreational facilities village upkeep and community services through use of service contractors and in-house teams.


  • Developing and implementing building maintenance standards and service levels for all in-sourced and out-sourced maintenance works.
  • Planning and implementing capital projects for estate housing, buildings, water and wastewater treatment systems.
  • Planning, assigning and prioritizing maintenance works orders and ensuring timeous completion to the appropriate quality standards.
  • Managing Company properties (leased property, villages and land).
  • Regular liaison with all stakeholders including neighboring community.
  • Managing operational and capital budgets.
  • Managing social services activities.
  • Implementation and maintenance of QSHE and CI systems in the Estate Services department, including all contractors.


The appropriate candidate must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • B Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years management experience in construction and building maintenance industry.
  • Experience in managing contractors and dealing with third parties.
  • Excellent computer skills especially Microsoft Project.
  • Good verbal communication and writing skills.
  • Demonstrable people management and leadership skills.
