Eswatini Development Finance Corporation (FINCORP) is looking to appoint a Senior Manager Risk and Compliance to help attain its vision and strategic goals.
Reporting to the Audit, Finance and Risk Committee, and Group Managing Director, this position requires an experienced strategic thinker who can anticipate issues and plan effectively, maintaining progress through strong personal performance.
The impact of the role is far reaching and significant with responsibility for the entire Group's risk management and compliance function. The position is accountable for ensuring that the Group understands and accordingly mitigates the impact of all possible risk elements that may derail the implementation of the organisational strategy.
Key performance areas — Develop and execute a risk and compliance management integrated framework — Establish an Enterprise Wide Risk Register and Governance Mechanism — Lead the implementation of comprehensive internal controls — Provide team guidance on the formulation of risk and compliance strategies — Establish an early risk incident warning systems — Regularly scan the regulatory environment identifying legislation and regulations that may impact the Group ensuring compliance of same — Report to senior management and the Audit, Finance and Risk Committee as required — Manage the department and ensure progressive development of staff — Maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Required qualifications and experience— Degree in Law or Equivalent Qualification — At least five years' experience working within a Risk and Compliance environment with experience at management level — Exposure to the financial services industry would be an added advantage — Risk Management qualification would be an added advantage
