Background The Baylor College of Medicine Bristol-Myer's Squibb Children's Clinical Centre of Excellence (COE) in Mbabane and the associated Satellite Centers of Excellence (SCOE), at Hlathikulu Government Hospital and RFM Hospital in Manzini are a manifestation of a public-private partnership between the Government of the Kingdom of Swaziland and Baylor College of Medicine, Texas, USA. Through the TSP Program, Baylor-Swaziland and Baylor-Malawi are implementing the Supply Chain and Pharmaceutical Assistance for Sustainable Systems (SC+ PASS) Project in Eswatini. The Foundation seeks to immediately fill the following position for the project:
Reporting to the Project Finance Administrator, the project driver is responsible for providing safe and timely services for the project office.
• Transports Project Office staff, consultants, and visitors to designated approved locations • Ensures safety, cleanliness, security and maintenance of project vehicles • Perform day-to-day road worthiness vehicle inspections. • Determine when and what kind of maintenance the vehicle needs, keep track of general maintenance schedules including license disk renewals, vehicle log books and other vehicle logistics.. • Plans route and requirements based on schedule or ad-hoc requests by the office • Operate vehicle in compliance with the in-country road traffic laws and ensure passengers adhere to all road safety regulations. • Update monthly mileage records and daily full signing of vehicle log book • Prepare weekly and monthly fuel consumption reports • Maintain log book of each service vehicle on a daily basis. • Provide safety precautions for clients in locations deemed high risk • Support administration department as a messenger, handyman and receiving guests when needed. • Performs any other duties as assigned
Education and Experience
• Valid driving license and a clean driving record • 0 'level certificate with 3 or more years of related driving experience. • Honesty and integrity is a paramount requirement. • A mechanical certificate is strongly preferred • Good command of English language and Siswati. • Must have sound interpersonal communication skills • Must be flexible to work in odd hours • Eswatini national will be preferred.
