FHI 360 is currently seeking qualified candidates for position of Finance Officer under the USAID-funded project, Linkages across the Continuum of HIV Services for Key Populations Affected by HIV (LINKAGES), under the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) program in Swaziland. Linkages Across the Continuum of HIV Services for Key Populations Affected by HIV (LINKAGES Project) was launched in June 2014 as PEPFAR and USAID's first global HIV project dedicated to key population (KP).
LINKAGES Finance Officer will perform accounts receivable and payable functions to support finance activities for Fill 360 Eswatini. He/She will generate reports, conducts specialized projects and responds to inquiries as required. Reconcile accounts and is responsible for a complete and systematic set of transactions in a specific phase of accounting for the LINKAGES Swaziland program. Provides support for field programs by conducting training on financial systems and processes.
• Posts ledger and general journal entries and/or balances accounts payable and ,accounts receivable records. • Reviews and verifies records, prepares invoices and vouchers, • Prepares and maintains accounting forms and reconciles sub-ledger accounts. • Provides support for field programs by conducting training on financial systems and processes. • Reviews Country Office monthly financial reports for month end closings involving cash
and travel reconciliations, accuracy of reports, and cost allowances. • Perform other duties as assigned.
• Bachelor of Commerce/ Finance or its International Equivalent in Accounting, Business, Finance or a related field — Required
Experience & Skills:
• 3-5 years of experience in providing outstanding customer service, performing corn plex activities associated with maintaining ledger accounts, and in ensuring compliance with company's system of internal controls is required. • Computerized accounting software experience required. • Proficiency in spreadsheet software required. • Ability to manage and complete numerous tasks with a high degree of organization • Articulate and professional and able to communicate in a clear, positive fashion with clients and staff. • Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English. • Prior experience working with USAID/PEPFAR programming and reporting preferred.
