This position is tenable at our Head Office in Mbabane and reports to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Manager Treasury is responsible for growing SBS investments by identifying, sourcing and obtaining profitable and sustainable clients. The incumbent will also act as a strategic business partner to investment clients. The incumbent will also act as a strategic business partner to invest-ments clients and to ensure that they are provided with the intended investment product, value propo-sition and service excellence.
• Implore strategies that will result in sustainable profitability in the Treasury office • Advise on how to grow interest margins • Identify and eliminate revenue leakages • Contain and control operating costs within budgetary provisions • Explore and recommend short and long-term investment opportunities to management • Produce and distribute daily cash flow forecasts for planning and decision making • Manage liquidity to meet business and regulatory requirements • Develop, implement upon approval all relevant policies to entrench governance and operational efficiencies • Create, manage and monitor relationships with Banks, Credit Rating Agencies, Regulators etc. • Develop, manage, monitor, and update the Treasury risk register • Establish, grow, manage and retain customer relationships
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor's Degree in any business discipline • Master's Degree will be an added advantage • Certified Treasury Professional designation • 6-7 years' experience within a financial institution in a Treasury environment • Experience in front office management, with knowledge of rating agencies, banking relationships, funding & investments, risk management, as well as cash management.
