An opportunity is open for an adequately qualified and experienced Property Consultant. This position reports to the Manager Operations and is tenable at our Head Office, Mbabane.
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring that the SBS property, facilities and infrastructure is safe and conducive for the efficient and effective achievement of SBS strategic goals.
• Oversee the construction, repairs and maintenance, relocation, occupancy and renovations of all premis-es of the Society • Conduct inspections for the buildings financed by 3/35 in liaison with the credit department and recover the related fees • Manage leased properties, ensure rentals are collected / paid and lease agreements are renewed timely • Oversee the implementation and compliance to Society's premises policies, procedures, systems and controls • Identify and address all risks and regulatory compliance related issues on SBS property and infrastructure • Compile and submit monthly reports on 5135 building projects, rental collections / paid and leased facilities
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or equivalent qualifications • 4 years experience in building and construction environment • Knowledge of the OHS Act of 2001 • Knowledge of ISO standards • A valid driver's license
• Good communications, interpersonal and reporting skills • Knowledge of the Construction related legislation • Good stakeholder management • Computer Literacy • Project management
