ONE OF OUR CLIENTS IS LOOKING TO FILL THE FOLLOWING POSITION
Responsible for all IT systems; overseeing installation, ensuring backup systems operate effectively, purchasing hardware and software, providing the ICT technology infrastructures for the organisation and contributing to organisational policy regarding quality standards and strategic planning. Position also accountable for directing day-to-day IT operations as well as creating technology vision for developing and implementing IT initiatives that improve cost effectiveness and business development. Reports to Head of Corporate Services.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS AND INDICATORS
IT Operations Management: Back-ups done as required, system online 90% of the time. Strategic Implementation: IT Business Plan developed, with IT strategy aligned to organisational strategy Financial Management: Inputs to budget provided timeously, with costs kept within agreed limits Risk Management Operational Plan: Robust Risk Management and Disaster Recovery Plan in place
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Degree qualification in Information Technology
5 Years' Experience in IT Support and Operations
