RETAIL CENTRE REPRESENTATIVE - NHLANGANO The purpose of this position is to meet sales targets and grow repeat business through the use of appropriate selling techniques and excellent customer service in dealing with walk in customers.

Key Responsibilities / duties 

✓ Carry out sales tasks and focus on achieving agreed sales targets.

✓ Utilise cross selling and upsetting skills to maximise sales.

Maintain the image of the centre to standard at at times.

✓ Deal with customers in a professional and responsive manner at all times.

✓ Generate accurate and timeous quotations for customers.

✓ Maintain stock on shelves and replenish.

✓ Process all transactions accurately and to required standard

✓ Adhere to all statutory and safety requirements. as well as security procedures

✓ Deal with documentation and submit in time for payment purposes.

✓ Assist with calling on customers and with loading of cylinders or welding items.

✓ Performing administrative duties such as inventory control, daily banking and till reconciliation in accordance with company systems, policies and procedures.

Job Requirements:

The successful incumbent should have a matric qualification, experience in inventory and or sales. Computer literacy and good communication skills are further requirements. Experience in dealing with customers and knowledge of Afrox systems, policies and procedures will be an advantage_ Personal attributes such as pressure tolerance, responsiveness, enthusiasm; energy and proactive behaviour are recommended.

The purpose of this role is to ensure the effective control of cylinders & bulk gas stock in such a way that stock losses are eliminated, inventory levels are optimised & a quality service is rendered to customers. and ensure alignment, effective implementation &
adherence to policies, procedures, systems & standards.

Key Responsibilities / duties

✓ Ensuring adherence to the SHEQ process to achieve safety targets, sustain improve-ments and ensure safe handling and security of stock and assets.

✓ Processing, forwarding and filino all gas & cylinder documents within laid down time limits.

✓ Monitor & action management reports & ensure that immediate corrective action is taken where required.

✓ Analyse stock reports to ensure that inventory levels are replenished to target daily & a quality service rendered to customers at all times.

✓ Implement physical stock counts according to company standards.

✓ Ensure consignment distributor & sales centre requirements are met at all times.

✓ Control the extra allocation of cylinders to customers and ensure customer records remain accurate.

✓ Ensure the correct storage & handling of cylinders.

✓ Capture. process & reconcile all cylinder and bulk gas stock records within stipulated time limits.

Job Requirements: The successful applicant should ideally have a Matric, with a relevant qualification being an advantage. (Certificate in Inventory Management, etc.). Proven ability & several years experience in data capturing & inventory administration are critical. Strong analytical & logical thinking. attention to detail, communication skill & drive for results are key. Sound understanding of storage & handling systems.

The purpose of this role will be to identify new business opportunities for the company's products, manage a portfolio of Key- and major accounts and offer a wide range of Afrox products and customer service.

Key areas of responsibility include:

✓ Provide direction and guidance to ensure alignment with company growth strategies and financial results. Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic plans for Swaziland.

✓ Prepare the annual business development plans focused on the growth agenda, follow up yearly targets and objectives and determine new opportunities by analyzing business needs, Management of working capital, stocks, debtors and cash.

✓ Manage sales in Swaziland and improve business performance. Secure long term supply agreements with Key- and major customers.

✓ Manage the products life cycle and replacement process including phasing out planning, stock level planning in conjunction with the relevant business areas.

✓ Carry out market surveys and sales trends reviews to identify customers' needs relative to existing products and new products requirements. Identify potential business risks.

✓ Develop and deliver business plans through carrying out research, formulate market analysis and deliver accurate business reports.

✓ Identify and develop new business opportunities and creative solutions in application of company products in the industry.

✓ Keep abreast with current market trends, monitor customer activities and gather market information, grow customer base, customer accounts, debt collection and sales budget

✓ Grow new business by identifying gaps, improve profits through effectively optimizing pricing opportunities and implementing best commercial practices.

✓ Ensure the value of Afrox is correctly presented to customers through effective use and co-ordination of specialist resources from within the company.

✓ Manage SHEQ including accidents/incident prevention, investigation and resolution, customer site safety. Participate in all company SHEQ programs

✓ Take responsibility for Production and distribution portfolios and ensure compliance to Afrox standards

The successful candidate will be in possession of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related discipline, with 5 to 10 years extensive experience in sales and marketing. The incumbent will have the ability to operate in a regional environment with excellent communication skills and a track record of successful business accomplishments. Ideally the person will be customer focused and results driven with high performance and team orientation. Business acumen, visible leadership, decision making, cross cultural communication and strong growth drive complete the profile for this position.


The purpose of the position is to control the welding inventory at the branch in such a way that an efficient, but cost effective service can be rendered to customers.
Key areas of responsibility include :

✓ Take full responsibility for the welding inventory at the branch so that all targets are achieved

✓ Control Welding Product Inventory effectively and efficiently meeting the agreed requirements of customers

✓ Ensure that physical stock reconciles with Inventory as per the system and that stock losses are eliminated

✓ Meeting and exceeding the customer expectations for product and services by ensuring that the stock classification is correct and that DIFOT. RIFOT and OTSA levels are maintained at the agreed level

✓ Ensure that all welding products are stored as per Afrox policy and procedures and that we comply with IS09001:2000 specifications_ Carry out monthly inspections to ensure that these policies are adhered to

✓ Action the TQ system at the branch for service as well as product non-conformities

✓ Identify any opportunities for continuous improvement from the TQ's and implement improved procedures. manage Stores Inventory Reports.

✓ Control the receipt and issue of stock, ensuring that all documentation is properly controlled and accurately processed. Control Bought out items as per the procedure at the brand Conduct weekly stock counts ensuring that the correct procedures are adhered to. Plan, arrange and control 100% witnessed stock counts (twice per annum). Support the safety, quality and security programs within the branch. Control dispatching of loading products to ensure accuracy.

Job Requirements: The successful incumbent should have a matrix / drivers license with extensive knowledge and experience of Inventory Control. A self-motivated individual with good interpersonal skills is required. SAP experience essential.
