TRANSPORT WORKSHOP MANAGER • Purpose of the job: To ensure road worthiness and cleanliness of trucks and that deliveries are made on time and in full.To ensure maintenance, repair and condition monitoring of all company fleet. Full co-ordination of all company Logistics functions. Qualifications Et Experience: • Qualified Diesel Mechanic or equivalent • 5 - 7 years managerial experience • Technical background with previous fleet workshop management experience • Experience in Operational FMCG Industry - added advantage Responsibilities include but not limited to: • Fleet Management • Fleet Audits • Technical support / Troubleshooting • Service Plans / COF/ Licensing • On the job training • Budget preparation, monitoring and variance reporting • Compiling of all required reports within set deadlines • Managing Human Resources • Managing Suppliers/ Service Providers Competencies (Knowledge, skills and abilities): • Expert knowledge - mechanics • Organisational Understanding • Legislation • Safe working practices • Analytical thinking • Communication • Decision making ability • Problem solving • Innovation/Continuous Improvements • Teamwork • People Management • Accountability • Sense of urgency/results orientation • Respect • Excel (pivot tables and formulas) Other Requirements: • Pressurized environment • 6-day position • Required to work Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays and 24/7 standby Applicants to please register the cv and apply on: Recruitment@PremierFMCG.com Closing Date: 29th March 2018 PS: Should you not receive a reply within 30 days of your application, please treat as unsuccessful.
