BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the above-mentioned position that reports to the Systems Support Engineer. QUALIFICATIONS: • BSc. in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / BCom. in Information Technology • Project Management Certification would be an added advantage. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: • Minimum of 4 years working experience in Information Technology environment. • 3 years comprehensive exposure to Business Systems implementation projects. PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES : • Self-motivated individual with high passion for driving business excellence through technology. • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to communicate effectively and professionally in a clear and understandable manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • • Translate business and user requirements into functional requirements through stakeholder collaboration • Solution focused and comfortable working directly with senior management. • Excellent understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). • Proven analytical background • Ability to develop and drive change initiatives throughout business • Ability to gather requirements and key insights and furthermore comprehensively document these findings. MAIN FUNCTION OF THE JOB: The Business Systems Analyst participates at all phases of the software development life cycle including gathering and translating business requirements into functional development specifications, following develop-ment tasks to completion, and investigating ways to optimize current functionality and processes. Understand-ing business change needs, assessing the business impact of those changes, capturing, analyzing and document-ing requirements and supporting the communication and delivery of requirements with relevant stakeholders KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: • Supporting the continuous analysis, development and implementation of business process improvement initiatives. • Participating in project team activities for assigned projects, with duties including research, planning, analysis, risk assessment, quality assurance, documentation, communication, and deployment. • Assisting in developing an overall change management strategy for EEC. Conduct change impact analysis to assess the potential implications of changes and documents EEC business rules, functions and requirements. • Participating in the planning, evaluation, quality and execution of technology, upgrades and integration of cross-functional systems and processes.
