About the position: Based at Head Office, Credit Department Roles and responsibilities: Deal with customers and lawyers to expedite loans recovery Maintain business orientated recovery culture in the organization Advise customers on the possible consequences of non-payment • Securing payments from the banks customers Dealing with Credit Bureaus Visiting customers at the physical address they have given Taking stock of defaulting clients’ movable assets Manage relationships with external service providers such as Liquidators, Executors, Police, Messengers of the courts, Valuators, etc. ssist in preparation and submission of necessary returns to the internal management committees, the board, local regulators, etc. Ensure appropriate recovery is achieved and provide legal support to impaired debts of the bank Lead detailed negotiations with customers regarding the agreement to pay and implementation of exit strategies Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Legal qualification, professional banking qualification or related field of study Minimum five years’ experience in banking industry Good understanding of the role of loan recoveries Previous experience of managing impaired loan portfolio Good knowledge of the legal system Behavioral Competencies Client Centricity Risk Optimization Innovation Culture Carrier – Commercial Aptitude Brand Ambassador Digital Literacy To apply send your CV to email@example.com Applications close on 28 February 2019 Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
